Defence minister Rajnath Singh, who addressed the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) defence ministers’ meeting in China’s Qingdao, refused to sign a document which would have diluted India’s stand on terrorism. Addressing the SCO meet, the defence minister spoke at length about the terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives, further mentioning about India’s bold decision in the form of Operation Sindoor — which targeted terror infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
