Seven people died after a helicopter carrying pilgrims from Kedarnath crashed near Rudraprayag’s Gaurikund early Sunday, officials said. On June 7, another Kedarnath-bound helicopter had to make a hard landing on the road, following a technical snag. In May this year, six people had died and one was injured when another helicopter going to Gangotri Dham from Dehradun crashed in Uttarkashi.
