Japan has drawn the curtains on the continent’s biggest sporting event, after more than two weeks of exhilarating action. While the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games delivered historic triumphs and unforgettable moments with more than 1,500 medals handed out across 43 sports, it was also marked by criticisms. In four years’ time, Doha will welcome Asia’s best athletes once again after 24 years. Alif Amsyar reports from Nagoya.
