Residents in southern Lebanon say an Israeli air strike hit a house where families from Nabatieh had sought refuge after evacuation warnings, killing five people and wounding five others.
Local officials report the town was largely emptied following an Israeli threat, but several families remained when the strike occurred. Witnesses say children and women were among the victims and question the intended message of the attack.
