“We came under an unprovoked, unwarranted act of aggression. We didn’t start this war.”
Iran is responding in self-defence to an “unjust war” started by the United States and Israel, and any country joining the military effort would be seen as participating in the “United States-Israel war of aggression against Iran”, says spokesperson for the Iranian foreign ministry Esmail Baghaei.
