Iran has sharply criticized former US President Donald Trump’s “Peace Through Strength” policy, calling it a form of global coercion disguised as diplomacy. In a powerful statement, Iran’s Defense Minister Brig. Gen. Aziz Nasirzadeh said Trump’s approach forces nations to submit rather than achieve real peace.
Speaking amid renewed talks over the Gaza peace deal, Nasirzadeh warned that the US is trying to reshape the Middle East through intimidation, sanctions, and psychological warfare. He argued that Washington’s so-called peace agenda only strengthens American dominance, not regional stability.
Iran maintains that freedom-loving nations will reject such coercive tactics, vowing to resist pressure and defend national sovereignty.
