Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has denied holding any nuclear talks with the United States, following President Donald Trump’s claim that such talks were scheduled to take place next week. Araghchi stated that, so far, there have been no negotiations with the US. He also noted that Iranian lawmakers have passed a bill suspending cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog. He acknowledged that the war with Israel caused massive damage to Iran’s nuclear sites. Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei accused the US of exaggerating the impact of its strikes and also claimed victory over Israel. The United States, in turn, accused Khamenei of trying to “save face.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also claimed victory and said it opened a window to peace.
