Local media shared footage showing an ICE agent attempting to enter Ecuador’s consulate in Minneapolis, but consulate officials prevented the entry and protected Ecuadorian citizens inside. Ecuador’s government said it filed a formal protest with the US Embassy in Quito over the incident.
