Kara Dansky is a lawyer, public speaker and author of the 2023 book The Reckoning: How the Democrats and the Left Betrayed Women and Girls and the 2021 book The Abolition of Sex: How the ‘Transgender’ Agenda Harms Women and Girls. She writes a Substack newsletter titled The TERF Report and in 2024, launched the Democratic Women’s Declaration. She served on the board of the Women’s Liberation Front from 2016 to 2020 and as president and member of the board of directors of Women’s Declaration International USA from 2021 to 2024. Before TERFing herself out of a career, she spent nearly twenty years working in criminal law and justice policy, including a post as Senior Counsel for criminal justice policy at the ACLU. Dansky has a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a BA from Johns Hopkins University.
