We all love a bargain, so in a world of dupe culture all’s fair, right?

It might be fun to share our #dupes on socials, but the rise of rip offs has Australian designers grappling to stop the behemoth that is fast fashion.

Shein has recorded more than $1 billion in annual sales in Australia for the first time. And there are more sites taking designs and replicating them… poorly.

Brisbane designer Kristian Williams was horrified to find his bright, embellished designs had been stolen and sold at a fraction of the price.
