Greater Noida (UP), August 24, 2025: In a shocking twist to the dowry murder case, accused Vipin Bhati, charged with killing his wife Nikki over dowry demands, has been shot in the leg during a police encounter. After being taken to the hospital for treatment, Bhati made a chilling statement saying, “I have no remorse. I haven’t killed her. She died on her own. Husband and wife often fight, it is very common.”
