The wife of the former President of South Korea has been sentenced to 7 years in prison for taking bribes, such as jewelry, in exchange for government posts/appointments. Her husband, former President Yoon Suk Yeol, was sentenced to life in prison for masterminding a failed insurrection in December of 2024.
