Ministers from eleven EU countries are meeting in Germany to discuss stricter migration measures, including enhanced border protection and faster deportation of rejected asylum seekers to designated safe third countries. Since taking office in May, the German government has adopted policies that include pushbacks at the border, raising concerns among human rights groups.
