Who cleared WW2 battlefields of all the weapons and soldiers’ kit that was left strewn about once the fighting ended? In this programme we look at the work of GIs of the Service Company of the 330th Infantry Regiment, 83rd Division gathering and processing US and German weapons and equipment after a recent battle in Germany in December 1944.

Dr. Mark Felton FRHistS, FRSA, is a well-known British historian and a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, and the author of 22 non-fiction books, including bestsellers ‘Zero Night’ and ‘Castle of the Eagles’, both currently being developed into movies in Hollywood.
