Joe Biden has said that doctors are “very optimistic” about his prostate cancer diagnosis, which the former president announced this month.
Biden told reporters in Delaware that he had begun treatment, and it was “all a matter of taking a pill”.
“The expectation is we’re going to be able to beat this,” he said, adding that he felt “good”.
The former president’s remarks came after he delivered a speech at a Memorial Day event at Veterans Memorial Park in New Castle, Delaware.
