Operators say public confusion over which recyclables are eligible for a 10-cent refund could pose the biggest challenge for an upcoming recycling programme. The Beverage Container Return Scheme will see a six-month transition period from April. And during that time, a mix of containers with and without deposit marks will enter the market.
