Asian Games 2026: Singapore MMA fighter Tiffany Teo guaranteed at least a silver in her event

Singapore mixed martial arts fighter Tiffany Teo has booked her place in the women’s traditional 60kg final at the Asian Games, guaranteeing herself at least a silver medal. The 36-year-old defeated India’s Suchika Tariyal 2-0 in the semi-finals and will face Uzbekistan’s Khilola Sobirova for gold on 22 Sep. Teo had earlier made history as Singapore’s first Asian Games medallist in the sport. Alif Amsyar reports from Nagoya. Meanwhile in wushu, Tay Yu Xuan finished fifth out of 15 competitors in the men’s Taijiquan and Taijijian final, with a combined score of 19.419. China took gold.
