Rising mobile phone prices are driving more people in Singapore to repair their devices or buy used handsets. New phone sales fell 14% between 2023 and 2025 according to a study. The trend is also boosting the resale and e-waste recycling markets, where up to 90% of a phone’s parts and materials can be recovered. Eugene Chow reports.
