Singapore and Sweden are set to expand cooperation in emerging tech, sustainable energy sources and strengthen ties in research and academic institutions. President Tharman Shanmugaratnam is on a state visit to Sweden — Singapore’s first president to do so. Both countries are marking 60 years of diplomatic relations. Nicolas Ng reports from Stockholm.
