The US military has rejected Iran’s claim that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps seized an advanced American underwater drone in the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC said it captured a Remus 600 autonomous underwater vehicle during a coordinated operation involving intelligence and electronic warfare, claiming the drone was conducting surveillance in the strategic waterway. US military officials, however, said the United States maintains positive control of its operational drone assets and dismissed Iran’s claim.
