In another major corporate ruling, the Mumbai NCLT directed the promoters of Royal Palms to conduct an independent valuation and execute a formal buyout exit strategy for the widow of late director Mohamed Nensey while protecting the shareholding of her two minor children. Concurrently, the Maharashtra State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission dismissed a revision petition by two daughters attempting to shield their Vashi flats from attachment to settle their deceased father’s ₹4.40 lakh liability, noting that the underlying gift deeds were executed to frustrate consumer recovery.
