A deadly Russian drone strike near Kyiv has killed at least 37 people after hitting a warehouse in the village of Myla, west of the Ukrainian capital, triggering a massive fire and a series of explosions. Ukrainian officials said the blast also damaged around 50 residential buildings and a care facility for elderly people and people with disabilities. More than 370 people were evacuated from the area as emergency crews continued rescue and recovery operations. Russia’s Defence Ministry said it struck an ammunition depot, while Ukrainian authorities have opened a criminal investigation into possible negligence over the storage of explosive materials near civilian homes. The attack comes amid a third consecutive day of Russian air raids across Ukraine.
