American actress Hayden Panettiere, best known for starring in hit US television series Heroes and Nashville, has died at the age of 36. No cause of death has been announced. Panettiere began acting as a child before finding international fame as cheerleader Claire Bennet in Heroes. She also had roles in the Scream movie franchise and Remember the Titans.
