Mumbai witnessed the inauguration of several major infrastructure projects aimed at improving connectivity across the city and suburbs. The Bharat Nagar–Vakola Junction Elevated Road under SCLR Phase-II and the ‘Chembur’ Metro Station on Metro Line 2B were inaugurated. The Thane–Borivali Twin Tunnel Project was also launched with TBM ‘Arjuna’, while the BKC Connector was named the Barrister Babasaheb Anantrao Bhosale Flyover.
