U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff delivered a fiery speech in Rome, Georgia, sharply criticising President Donald Trump and Republican Senate candidate Mike Collins as he rallied supporters ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
Speaking at a Democratic canvassing event in Floyd County, Ossoff accused Trump of attempting to undermine Georgia’s election results in 2020 and warned that voting rights could once again come under attack in the state. He revisited Trump’s call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” votes and vowed that Georgians would decisively reject any future attempts to interfere with the democratic process.
