Venezuelans are still searching through the rubble a month after two devastating earthquakes, which left thousands dead and tens of thousands more still missing.

The disaster came at a moment of acute political and economic uncertainty, following the toppling of president Nicolas Maduro.

Asma Khalid from The Global Story podcast speaks to the BBC’s Will Grant, who’s inside Venezuela, and has spoken to survivors, grieving families, and government officials leading the response.
