At least 20 furniture stores in Tan Boon Liat Building have expressed interest to move collectively to a new location if the en bloc deal goes through. The Singapore Furniture Association says this is so customers can browse a variety of products on offer at one place, just like the current setup. The building at Outram Road has received a conditional offer of S$950 million. Alxis Thng has more.
