In this episode we examine the discovery of a huge stash of currency hidden in the Alps on Himmler’s express order for use in his planned escape south in May 1945. Worth $119 million today, it is an important and forgotten clue to help us unravel Himmler’s intentions in leaving Flensburg on 10 May 1945 and his going south through enemy territory. I have also discovered how this cash stash was conveniently located close to the two locations where his wife & daughter and his mistress and her children had been hidden by the SS to avoid captured by the Americans – an extraordinary coincidence or part of Himmler’s master plan? I also reveal, based on evidence from the stash, where Himmler might have been intending to escape to – and it wasn’t Argentina!
