Workers’ Party chief Pritam Singh has returned unopposed in the party’s internal elections, following a secret vote among cadres yesterday (Sunday). The party says he secured a “super majority” in the vote, held amid internal dissent linked to the fallout from former MP Raeesah Khan’s lies to Parliament. He provides his analysis on the outcome of the WP internal elections, how significant the result is, and whether there might be lingering questions around unity and accountability.
