The Western Allies officially re-used many captured Axis weapons, vehicles and aircraft, often re-equipping whole units with German or Italian kit. A very wide variety of weapons were prized by the Allies for re-issue, distinct from trophy hunting by individual soldiers. You will probably be surprised.
