At least 21 people were killed and several others injured after a devastating fire swept through a bed-and-breakfast facility in South Delhi’s Malviya Nagar. The blaze broke out on Wednesday morning at the five-storey Flourish Stay B&B, reportedly starting in the basement. Around 40 people were inside when thick smoke engulfed the building, trapping guests and staff. Dramatic scenes showed occupants jumping from windows to escape the flames. Emergency teams rescued survivors and shifted them to nearby hospitals. Authorities have launched an investigation, with preliminary reports suggesting possible violations of occupancy and fire safety regulations at the property.
