An average of more than 800 feedback cases involving pet parrots were received by the National Parks Board annually over the last five years. The issues include noise and the welfare of the animal. Disputes between neighbours have led to ties being soured, with some owners ultimately giving up their birds. Eugene Chow finds out what’s ruffling feathers on World Parrot Day.
