Several rollercoaster rides at an amusement park in Texas were temporarily stranded mid-air on May 16 after a power outage, forcing visitors to climb down from dizzying heights using emergency stairs.
A spokesperson for the Six Flags amusement park told local media the outage was caused after an external construction crew struck an underground power line. They added that all guests were safely escorted off the rides and given complimentary tickets for a return visit. #usa #usnews
