Reports suggest that diplomatic talks between India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi focused on ensuring safe passage for Indian energy shipments.
The arrival of the tanker marks one of the first successful transits carrying non-Iranian crude through the Strait of Hormuz during the ongoing crisis, highlighting the importance of diplomatic engagement for safeguarding India’s energy supply.
