US President Donald Trump is threatening to use an emergency law to send federal troops into the state of Minnesota, following days of angry protests against ICE. It comes more than a week after a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent fatally shot a woman in Minneapolis. Multiple senior federal prosecutors in Washington, DC, and Minnesota are leaving their jobs amid turmoil over the Trump administration’s handling of the investigation.
