With the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections approaching, residents from South Mumbai’s Colaba share what affects their daily lives the most.

From unregulated hawkers and double parking to noise from constant honking, pollution and issues around Sassoon Dock, citizens say these problems need urgent attention at the ward level.

The BMC has 227 wards, each meant to be represented by an elected corporator. But with corporators out of office for nearly three years, residents say local civic issues have gone unresolved.
