Severe flooding struck Exaltacion de la Cruz in Argentina on Saturday (May 17), leading to the evacuation of thousands of residents. Argentina’s National Meteorological Service issued a red alert for the northern Buenos Aires province due to heavy rains which the head of the Exaltacion de la Cruz’s firefighters brigade, Juan Carlos Etcheverry, said were “not seen in years.”
