A luxury cruise boat sinks under tow, just metres from one of the busiest shipping lanes in the country and it’s a race against time to re-float the boat and move it safely into harbour. Sydney also plays host to one of the biggest oil tankers ever to squeeze under the Harbour Bridge with less than a metre between the ship and the seabed. Another cruiser is also taking water and the team from Marine Rescue must man the pumps to save it and just across the harbour at the iconic Sydney Opera House, maintenance crews drill into the famous tiled sails at dawn in search of damaging corrosion.
