Andy Warhol would have turned 93 today. To celebrate, one of his favorite restaurants, Serendipity 3, is offering diners a special deal on the Pop artist’s regular lunch order: a New York-style hot dog topped with sauerkraut, a side of crispy french fries and a frozen hot chocolate (the restaurant’s signature drink).

“Andy Warhol has been a part of Serendipity since the 1950s when he was a struggling illustrator,” chef Joe Calderone, the restaurant’s creative director, told Artnet News in an email. “Serendipity was his first factory, where he would sell his shoe illustrations in exchange for his meals. He was a regular until his untimely death in 1987.”

Serendipity’s Andy Warhol Special costs $29.99 and if that seems steep, well, it’s cheaper than a lot of things on the menu. The restaurant currently holds the Guinness world record for the world’s most expensive milkshake ($100), the most expensive hot dog ($69), and the most expensive hamburger at ($295).

“Andy had an insatiable sweet tooth and loved all the desserts at Serendipity, especially the frozen hot chocolate,” Calderone added. “It is a secret blend of 14 cocoas blended to an icy consistency and served with a mountain of whipped cream and shaved chocolate. The recipe was created by the three founding partners and has been such a hit that we have served almost 30 million of them over the years!”

The 67-year-old restaurant, which has over the years welcomed celebrities ranging from Marilyn Monroe to Selena Gomez, reopened last month with some new wallpaper featuring hundreds of Polaroid selfies by Warhol, which were licensed from the Warhol Foundation.

The restaurant’s decor—known for its quirky blend of antiques and stained glass Tiffany lamps—also includes a clay sculpture of Warhol by Brooklyn artist Elliott Arkin, which has been a fixture at the restaurant for over 20 years. It hangs from the ceiling above the artist’s regular table—now renamed “the Warhol” in his honor.

Reservations are available on Resy for the Warhol birthday celebration.
