In honor of LGBT pride month 2019, trans ballerina Jayna Ledford told her story to NowTHis News. As seen in this trans ballerina movie (short film), Jayna Ledford has faced hardships and adversity in her years of ballet. Being a ballerina girl as a trans woman has been an uphill battle as dancing traditionalists did not want to see her be who she is. Switching from male to female roles caused Ledford to lose her scholarship. Trans rights and right sfor all LGBTQ, meaning lesbian gay bisexual trans queer or questioning, are important issue – during pride month and always.
