Marine biology scientists found the plastic pollution inside the sperm whale’s stomach during their investigation. Ocean pollution and sea pollution are a massive problem as the plastic ocean trash threatens life across the planet. This dead whale is only one sad example. According to Greenpeace Italy, the whale carcass washed up on May 17 on a beach in Cefalu, Sicily. Greenpeace estimated the whale was 7 years old. A sperm whale average life span is 70 years.
