Apple is expected to unveil new iPhones, Apple Watches and AirPods today at an event at its Cupertino, Calif. headquarters. Recode is attending the event and will update this post live from the Steve Jobs Theater with a stream of the most important announcements and some fast analysis.

The event begins at 1pm ET, 10am PT; refresh this post for the latest.

This is Apple’s biggest keynote event of the year, as the iPhone still represents the majority of the company’s revenue and profits. This year, it appears Apple will be refreshing the iPhone X as the iPhone XS, introducing a larger version called the iPhone XS Max — its giant screen should be stunner — and adding a new phone called the iPhone XR, which will come in a bunch of colors, and is expected to be the less-expensive option.

But we’re also very curious about the new Apple Watch; a leaked photo of a supposed new watch-face design and larger display seems to make it a more capable wrist computer — an interesting thing if you’re thinking about the future.

Apple will be live-streaming the event on its website and on Twitter.

This is Apple’s second iPhone event at its impressive Steve Jobs Theater, which it opened last fall. See our photo essay from that event here.
