NowThis producer, Lucy Biggers, decided to go plastic-free for an entire month, avoiding the use of single-use plastic. The plastic problem has gotten out of control. Plastic in the ocean, including the Texas-sized island of trash floating in the Pacific, and plastic pollution in general is a huge environmental concern and is serving as a wake up call for more people today. As more people become aware of this issue, there are more people seeking ways to live a zero waste lifestyle or what’s referred to as ‘green living’. Refraining from single-use plastics is just one way we can work towards a more sustainable future and towards finding solutions for us all to go 100% plastic free.
